Srsly? You can't name ONE?

Excerpt from Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Couric. Bear in mind this is *after* Palin informed Couric that America was holding its breath waiting to see how John McCain handles the meltdown on Wall St., on accounta what a strong leader he is and all he's done for this great country in the 26 years he's been in office. She went on to add that no one cares what Barack Obama will do; it's all about McCain and his super strong leadership. A few minutes later (I think there was a question in between), Couric followed that up with this (which I transcribed myself, but I left out the stutters):

Katie Couric - You've said that, quote, "John McCain will reform the way Wall St. does business." Other than supporting stricter regulations of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac two years ago, can you give us any more examples of his leading the charge for more oversight?

Sarah Palin - I think that the example that you just cited with his warnings two years ago about Fannie and Freddie, that, that's paramount. That's more than a heck of a lot of other senators and representatives did for us.

KC - But he's been in Congress for 26 years, he's been chairman of the powerful Commerce Committee, and he has almost always sided with less regulation, not more. (emphasis KC's)

SP - He's also known as "The Maverick," though, takin' shots from his own party, and certainly takin' shots from the other party, tryin' to get people to understand what he's been talkin' about, the need to reform government--

KC - I'm just gonna ask you one more time, not to belabour the point, specific example in his 26 years of pushing for more regulation.

SP - I'll try to find you some, and I'll bring 'em to ya.
